With a storied history within the automotive industry, the event will provide ‘the best historic motorsport, incredible music, family entertainment and amazing food all in one weekend’.
The world-famous Silverstone racetrack is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2023 and attendees can expect an unforgettable three days of high-octane action.
All three days are packed with non-stop historic racing action as well as live music from an amazing list of artists. Headliners McFly are set to perform some of their biggest hits, and will be supported by the Sugababes, ABC, and the Christians over the weekend.
Aside from the incredible line-up of music, there are plenty of fun activities for the whole family to take part in A new F1 FanZone has been introduced this year, featuring the latest F1 show cars, racing simulators and a pit-stop challenge.
For the F1 fans in attendance – you won’t miss any of the weekend’s action, as you can even watch the Dutch Grand Prix live at the festival.
Fans of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime can look forward to the return of the Diddly Squat Farm Shop at the event’s ‘Foodie Fest’. This will include Silverstone Kitchen Live, where you can watch chef demos, attend tasting masterclasses, and check out the finest locally sourced produce at the artisan market.
And most importantly, those in attendance can enjoy some exciting motor racing.
From flat-out qualifying laps on Friday to wheel-to-wheel racing on Saturday and Sunday, there will be plenty to enjoy.
There will also be the 75th anniversary parade of iconic Grand Prix cars that have raced at Silverstone over the years.
The 75th Anniversary Grand Prix Trophy for Front Engine GP Cars will be a highlight of the event, featuring a field of iconic Aston Martins, Ferraris, Maseratis, and Scarabs
With wheel-to-wheel racing, hit music and a food festival all to enjoy – there is something for all the family.
However, each year, many automotive clubs from across the UK put on a display for those in attendance.
This year hundreds of clubs have signed up to appear at the Silverstone Festival.
Are you a member of a club? Then you can register to be a part of the festival.
And for those who wish to take in all the festivities of the event – there are some special anniversaries and motorsport milestones that will be celebrated through track parades.
On Friday 25th August, there will be celebrations for the 120th anniversary of Ford and Vauxhall, the Centenary of Triumph Cars, 70th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 60th anniversary of Lamborghini with Lamborghini Club UK, the 60th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz W113 Pagoda with the Mercedes-Benz Club, and 50th anniversary of the Maserati Quattroporte.
The following day, Saturday 26th August, there will be the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Lotus. There will also be the parade for the 75th anniversary of Porsche – and the 25th anniversary of the Porsche 996. This will be followed by the celebration for the 75th anniversary of the Jaguar XK120.
On the final day of the festival, Sunday 27th August, there will be a parade for the 110th anniversary of Aston Martin, the 75th of the DB1 the 65th of the DB4, the 60th of the DB5 and the 20th anniversary of the DB9. It will also be the centenary parade for MG and the 50th anniversary of the Caterham 7.
